The Multiphasic Scanner prop was used by Data in a number of episodes 
including ÒSchismsÓ (TNG).  Star TrekÕs property department frequently 
ÒrecyclesÓ props in an effort to keep within the showÕs tight budget and 
schedule, so this particular prop was also used for other functions 
in ÒIdentity CrisisÓ (TNG) and ÒConundrumÓ (TNG).  Æ
