This cabinet was originally built for ÒThe Naked NowÓ (TNG), and 
was used many times during the series. The actual circuits and devices 
inside the cabinet gradually got more complex as various devices were 
added as required for specific episodes. The two sets of four diagonal 
aluminum conduits were originally manufactured as handrails for the engine 
room of the Starship Enterprise as it would have been seen in the aborted 
Star Trek II television series in the mid-seventies.  Æ
