This door led to the medical laboratory as seen in ÒHome SoilÓ (TNG) 
and other episodes.  Unfortunately, this particular set was squeezed behind 
the transporter room, and was thus very difficult to shoot in.  In later 
episodes, production designer Richard James came up with a seperate 
medical laboratory that was built elsewhere and seen in ÒThe OffspringÓ 
(TNG), ÒThe Best of Both Worlds, Part IIÓ (TNG), and others.  Æ
