This large wall display was redesigned several times during the series, most 
recently part-way through the seventh season.

Some versions of the main diagnostic display (including this one) were 
designed to permit portions of the graphics to be removed and replaced with 
video monitors so that animated computer displays could be seen.

Earlier versions of this panel included a gag label that would allow sickbay 
personnel to monitor the patientÕs most critical vital sign, the level of 
Òmedical insurance remaining.Ó Alas, this gag was omitted on the seventh-
